MEET ALY
Founder - Nurse Practitioner
Aly is the founder of Inertia Concierge & Aesthetic Medicine. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Florida.
She was born and raised in Tampa Bay and spent several years caring for critical ICU patients at Tampa General Hospital as well as caring for adult and pediatric populations at USF Health Internal Medicine and Pediatrics prior to practicing medical aesthetics.
Before pursuing nursing, Aly was doing professional makeup for weddings and events and chose to pursue nursing because she felt she would be fulfilled in a field where she could make people feel better. After dedicating 6 years to medicine she found that medical aesthetics was her ultimate passion as it married science, medicine and beauty.
Prior to opening her practice she worked at multiple medspas and with most major device companies including training on lasers. With her extensive medical training and medical aesthetics experience she felt that her patients and the Tampa community deserved a true medical, all encompassing practice dedicated to holistic health, wellness and aesthetics in one place. Aly is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest caliber of care, knowledge and experience and emphasizes evidenced based practice in medicine.
In addition to being a trainer herself, she is regularly advancing her own knowledge as well as her staffs, to deliver the best and safest outcomes for our patients.
In addition to Inertia Concierge & Aesthetic Medicine, Aly and her husband Jesse own Avail Home Care & Care Consulting providing caregiver services and nursing consulting for the complex needs of the senior and disabled community in Tampa Bay.
MEET DR JOHN SOSA, M.D, DIPABLM
Head of Concierge Medicine & Wellness, Medical Director
Dr. John Sosa heads up our concierge medicine and wellness division at Inertia Concierge & Aesthetic Medicine and serves as the practice medical director. He is a proud native of suburban Detroit and is double board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle medicine.
He attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for his undergraduate studies and American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten for Medical School. Upon completing medical school, he returned to Detroit and did three years of General Surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, MI, followed by a Family Medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
He spent several years working in urgent care, opened a medical aesthetics practice. In 2009 he made his way to Tampa, joining Baycare to practice primary care for close to ten years. At that time, he also attained his board certification in lifestyle medicine and in 2019 started Tampas first Direct Primary Care Lifestyle Medicine Practice. Dr. Sosa has been practicing medicine for almost twenty years and is passionately focused on preventative care, lifestyle transformation, medical weight loss and minimally invasive aesthetics.
He practices what he preaches and is a fitness fanatic and follows a plant based diet. He is passionate about sports, loves traveling and is married with beautiful children in a blended family. He is dedicated to his patients and values the patient provider relationship that a concierge medicine practice allows for.
Meet Alina
Registered Nurse - Practice Manager
Alina, originally from Florida, holds the role of Practice Manager at Inertia. Her educational journey led her to the University of South Florida, where she began her college degree.
With a deep-seated passion for providing care to individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups, Alina was drawn to the field of nursing from a young age. She fulfilled her aspirations by graduating from nursing school as a first-generation college student in 2022.
At Inertia, Alina admires the diverse and attentive staff, which contributes to the practice’s welcoming environment. Outside of work, Alina enjoys attending sporting events with her boyfriend and friends, finding solace and enjoyment in the excitement of the games. Family holds a special place in Alina’s heart, and she cherishes spending quality time with her loved ones.
Her commitment to both her professional and personal life reflects her dedication to fostering strong connections and making meaningful contributions in all aspects of her life.

Currently pursuing a nursing degree, Kristen envisions expanding her impact as an Aesthetic Injector, showcasing her enthusiasm for continuous growth and development.
